Chris helped the Patriots to a third straight MHSAA playoff appearance in 2009. Collecting 944 total yards of offense and making 7 trips to the end-zone. Chris lead his the Patriots in carries, receptions, points and yards. In a season plagued with injuries Chris remained healthy and picked up the slack when necessary. His health and success can be attributed to the amount of hard work he put in this off-season, and his desire to get better every day. Sophomore year (2007), Chris was the starting FB where he rushed for 1,140 yards and found the endzone 12 times. As a junior (2008) Chris played a back-up role (FB) to senior David Fortin (GVSU). Chris took advantage of his time on the field by rushing for almost 500 yards on 78 carries, scoring 7 times.
